LIFE.com 2011 Photo Blog Awards: Photojojo’s Tumblr
A lot of very, very good blogs are deadly serious in tone and intent. Photojojo is not one of them. And that is precisely its appeal. Photojojo, the quirkiest of LIFE.com’s winners, offers quick news you can use, DIY-crafts, and wonderfully non-essential photography-based tidbits. | Visit Photojojo’s Tumblr

iTunes in the Cloud iOS 4.3 beta hands-on (video) | This is my next...

nschaden:

I’ve been handing out too many links as of late to the thisismynext guys, but damn they deserve praise: They provided the best livestream coverage, and now there’s already a video up showcasing the iCloud iOS 4.3 beta in action.

Bottom line, it’s in beta, but there are way too many button presses with the new iTunes to do a “selective sync” effectively. What happens when my iPhone fills up and yet I want to pull down that recently purchased album? It seems like the only solution is a lot of manual deletion and cloud downloads a la carte.

Don’t get me wrong, cool service at first glance. But it further supports the notion that a streaming locker based solution is necessary for those with larger media collections, along with making unlimited streaming options like Mog or Rdio still very relevant.
